Health and Wellbeing Day at Likewise: Sheffield Services come together to provide a day of testing
On Tuesday 27th Likewise held a hugely successful Health and Wellbeing Day. The aim of the day was to raise awareness of the blood tests that Likewise and the Hep C trust offer, as well as offer Sexual Health tests. We were joined by our partners at Sexual Health Sheffield and the Hepatitis C Trust.
On the day we were able to test 30 people with Sexual Health Sheffield for Gonorrhea, Syphilis and chlamydia and did 14 BBV tests for Hep C, Hep B and HIV.
We also gave out delicious smoothies that proved very popular, as well as goodies bag to all those who got tested. The day inspired some really some brilliant conversations around myth busting and general health education, with clients able to ask questions in a safe environment.
